Richard N. Price,72 Poland-Richard N. Price, 72, of 5107 Lemoyne Ave. died of complications of pneumonia Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Price was born October 19, 1931 in Youngstown a son of Ben and Helen Hoffman Price. He was a lifelong resident of the area. A 1949 graduate of the Rayen School he was a driver/salesman for Schwebelâa�a��s Bakery for 32 years retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps actively and in the Reserves from 1952 to 1960. Mr. Price was a member of the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder, a deacon, sang in the choir and was a lay reader. He was a member of Western Star Lodge F & AM where he served as Jr. Warden and Chaplain. In 2003 he received the âa�A"Best of the Best Jr. Wardenâa�A� award for the district. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Ancient Order of the Scottish Rite, Youngstown Valley; a member of the Aut Mori Grotto where he was Past Monarch, was on the Circus Committee and supervised the circus âa�A"crew kitchenâa�A�. He was on the board of directors of the Boardman Little League where he managed teams including Spartan Chevrolet. He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Irving whom he married June 11, 1955; a daughter Linda and her husband David Crish of Poland; a son Scott Price and his friend Karen Gasper of Hubbard and two grandchildren, Daniel and Madeline Crish of Poland A sister Eleanor Tokash, and brothers Frank, Bill, Ed and Robert are deceased. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Cunningham Becker Funeral Home in Poland where friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday. Masonic Memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Thursday. Internment will be in Lake Park Cemetery where the U.S. Marine Corps will provide honors with the flag.
