Richard Duane Morris, 81 Youngstown- Richard Duane Morris, 81, of Omni Manor died Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Morris was born October 8, 1923 in Southington, Ohio, a son of Duane and Mary Faye Gassman Morris. He was raised and lived in Parkman until moving to this area 2 years ago. He was a graduate of Middlefield High School and was a foreman for Johnson Rubber Company in Middlefield for over 30 years. Mr. Morris, a Combat First Sergeant with the United States Army during World War II served in the European, African, and Middle Eastern Theater and received numerous awards. He leaves four daughters, Marcia (Nick) Albanese and Lisa (Bob) Teele both of Dunedin, Florida, Karen (George) Doykos of Hicksville, New York and Laura (Dave) Robich of Poland; one sister, Betty Stafford of Farmington, Ohio; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
