Richard âa�A"Billâa�A� E. Kerr Sr., 72 Boardman- Richard E. Kerr, Sr., 72 of 945 Auburn Hills Drive formerly of North Beaver Township died Sunday evening at his residence. Mr. Kerr also known as Bill was born September 19,1929 in New Castle, a son of Howard and Mary Mylott Kerr. He lived in Mount Jackson and then North Beaver Township where he lived most of his life before moving to Boardman in 1992. For over 20 years he was a sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company. Previous to Pfizer he was employed as a millwright for Sharon Steel. He was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon and a former member of Moravia Presbyterian Church in Wampum, Pennsylvania where he served as Trustee. He was a member of the Lodge of Craft/Westminster F&AM No. 433 and a 32nd degree Mason of the Valley of New Castle Consistory of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. He was a member of Legion of Honor Valley of New Castle. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran serving in World War II. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren at their musical and sporting events. Besides his wife the former Nancy McKinley whom he married January 8, 1951 he leaves three daughters, Lynn (Robert) Cozzo and Sharon Ambrose both of Poland and Diane Eichenlaub of New Castle; one son, Richard Jr., of Gallup, New Mexico; eight grandchildren, Shannon B. Kerr, Ian Kerr, Danielle Volpini, Bonnie Hall, Jamie Hall, Charlie Eichenlaub, Samantha Eichenlaub, Katie Eichenlaub and two great-grandchildren, Bella and Hannah Volpini. Four brothers, Thomas, James, Patrick and John Kerr preceded him in death. Services will be Thursday, 2:30 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Thursday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home where a Masonic Service will be held at 2:00 PM. Memorial Contributions may go to Hospice of the Valley,
