Richard Dallas Garman, 69 POLAND- Richard Dallas Garman, 69, of Renwick Dr., died Tuesday at Greenbriar Nursing Home. He was born April 6, 1933 in Youngstown, a son of Dallas and Christine Schink Garman. He was raised in Vienna moving to Struthers in 1960, and then to Poland in 1964. Mr. Garman was a 1951 graduate of Vienna High School. He attended Kent State University where he obtained a Bachelorâa�a��s of Science Degree in Chemistry. He was a chemist at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. and J&L Specialty Steel in Midland, PA., retiring in 1996 after 32 years. He was a veteran of U.S. Army, serving from 1956-1962. He was a member of the Stuthers Presbyterian Church and attended the Gioras Sunday school class. He was a member of the American Legion Post 15, Poland, a former member of the Duck and Dive Square Dance Club and Warren Gun Club. Besides his wife the former Martha Anderson, whom he married October 15, 1960, he leaves a daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Dale Finocchio of Poland; a son and daughter -in- law Thomas and Michele Garman of Vienna; and three grandchildren, Samuel and Alex Finocchio, and Dominic Garman. Funeral Services will be Saturday 1:00PM at the Davidson Becker Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday from 5-8PM. Memorial tributes maybe sent to the Struthers Presbyterian Church Capitol Improvement Fund, 110 Poland Ave., Struthers, 44471.
