Richard J. Brooke, 93
BOARDMAN - Services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman for Richard J. "Dick" Brooke, 93, who passed away Friday morning at Briarfield Manor.
Mr. Brooke was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Youngstown, a son of John and Sadie Sneed Brooke.
He had worked for F. Ivan Law Company for 38 years.
He was an U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 798th Field Artillery Battalion and stationed in Fort Bragg.
Dick was a member of several bowling leagues including Camelot Sr. Mix League. He was also a member the Canfield American Legion, the Western Reserve United Methodist Church and enjoyed walking at the mall.
Surviving him is his wife, the former Mildred "Millie" Graham, whom he married Nov. 18, 1943 and a sister, Ida (Edward) Zaccone of Youngstown.
Preceding him in death besides his parents are two sisters, Mildred Dominic and Luella Wolverton; and two brothers, Wayne and George Brooke.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., both at the funeral home.
