Struthers - Richard Bartholomew, 45, of Struthers, died of natural causes Tuesday at his residence.
Richard was born April 28, 1964 in Youngstown, a son of Jerry and Rose Melchionne Bartholomew.
A life-long resident of Struthers, Richard was a 1982 graduate of Struthers High School. He worked as a bartender for numerous restaurants including the Brown Derby and McNasys. Richard also worked in the pharmaceutical department at the former Woodside Receiving Hospital for 10 years. Richard enjoyed gardening and Indian artifacts.
Besides his father Jerry of Youngstown and mother Rose of Struthers, Richard leaves three brothers, Jerry Bartholomew Jr. and Ron (Wendy) Bartholomew all of Struthers, and Michael Bartholomew of Orlando, FL; and one niece, Sabrina Bartholomew.
Private funeral services will be held Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers with Fr. Bernard Bonnot officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
