Regina S. Shuluga, 87 Hillsville- Regina S. Shuluga, died Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mrs. Shuluga was born July 10, 1917 in West Point, Ohio, a daughter of John and Mary Kolesar Krachko. Regina was a 1936 graduate of Struthers High School and was instrumental for many years organizing class reunions. She was a member of Christ of King Parish in Hillsville. She was a member of the F.O.E. 213, Bessemer American Legion Auxiliary 638. SNPJ Lodge 771, of which she was an officer, and the Poland Center Homemakers. Her husband, John Shuluga, whom she married October 30,1937, died May 9, 1994. She leaves a daughter and son in law- Marcy and Bob Romano of Hillsville; two sisters, Anne Hostetter of East Palestine, OH and Katherine (Charles)Brooker of Newton Falls, OH; a brother, John (Ann) Kracko of Poland; three grandchildren, Michelle (Ed) Benton of New Castle, Regina (Doug) Kastner of Hillsville; and Rob (Fran) Romano of Hillsville; 11 great-grandchildren, Richard Romeo, Annie Miles, Christopher and Sue Benton, Kurt, Douglas, Sarah; and Scott Kastner; and Megan, Kara, and Anthony Romano; and a great-great grandson, Rocco Anthony Romeo; and her friend, Steve Hreen. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Pirlozzi and Helen Chizmar. Funeral services will be Friday 9:45 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:30 AM at Christ of King Parish.
