Rebecca J. Keeler, 50 Poland- Rebecca J. Keeler, 50, of 1777 Alverne Drive died suddenly Tuesday morning at her residence. Mrs. Keeler was born September 22, 1952 in Salem, Ohio, a daughter of Lester and Helen Wisler Jordan. She was raised in North Lima and resided in Kinsman for 10 years prior to moving to Webberville, Michigan where she lived for 10 years before returning to this area in 1996. She was a 1970 graduate of South Range High School. In 1975 she graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in English and Spanish from Youngstown State University. She went on to receive her Masters degree in 1999, graduating Summa Cum Laude. From 1975 until 1984 she taught both English and Spanish at Joseph Badger Meadows High School. For the last five years she was teaching at Jackson Milton High School. She attended Poland Village Baptist Church where she was a member of its choir, Sunday school teacher, nursery attendant and served actively in many other capacities as needed. She was a member of the American Federated Teachers Association and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Besides her mother of Poland, she leaves two sons, David E. Keeler Jr., of Poland and Robert G. Keeler of Swartz Creek, Michigan; a twin sister, Barbara (Terry) Sierp with whom she lived and one brother Thomas C. (Audrey) Jordan of Canfield and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, 11:00 AM at the Poland Village Baptist Church. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Friday in Church.
