Raymond A. Toriello, 89 Atlanta, GA- Raymond A. Toriello, 89, formerly of Struthers died early Wednesday morning at Mariner Health Care. Mr. Toriello was born in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania June 9, 1914, a son of Emilio and Diamante DiMucci Toriello. He moved from Struthers to Atlanta in June 2003 to live with his daughter and son-in-law Diane and Mike Goricki. He owned and operated Torielloâa�a��s Grocery Store in Struthers with his brother and sister John and Rose. He was a member of the Struthers VFW Post #3538 and served on the Struthers Board of Education and the Struthers Library Board. He was a member of Saint Nicholas Church in Struthers and Saint Peter Chanel in Roswell, Georgia. He was Honorably Discharged as Staff Sergeant from United States Army serving during WWII. His wife the former, Helen Elizabeth Diorazio, whom he married October 19, 1940, died March 14, 2000. He leaves two daughters, Diane Marie( Michael ) Goricki of Atlanta, GA and Beverly Ann( John ) Collier of Nashville, TN; one son, Michael ( Jane ) Raymond Toriello of Tucson, AZ; two sisters; Evelyn Rimedio of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Vera (Leonard ) Schiavone of Boardman; one brother, John Toriello of Poland; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Crea, Mary Todhunter D.O., Antoinette Toriello; and two brothers, Neil Toriello and Dan Toriello D.O. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:30AM Saint Nicholas Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, where the will be a military service to follow.
