Raymond S. Froom

Raymond S. Froom, 75 Struthers- Raymond S. Froom, 75, of 186 Helena Drive died Friday evening at Beeghley Medical Park. He was born in Youngstown May 6, 1929, a son of Leroy and Mary Boyd Froom. Mr. Froom was a 1947 graduate of East High School. He worked at Aeroquip in Youngstown for 26 years. He also worked part time at the First Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Struthers VFW 3538, Aeroquip Golf League, and the Struthers United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United Sates Marines for 5 years. He leaves his wife the former, Elizabeth(Betty) Zumrick, whom he married October 15,1955; one daughter Karen(Patrick) Snowden of Sarasota, FL; one son, Raymond (Mendy) Froom of Crosby, TX; one brother, Donald (Sophia) Froom of Niles; 2 grandsons, Justin and Trent; and one step-granddaughter, Charmaine. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
