North Port,FL- After a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Randy was called home to the Lord on 9/14/2015.
Randy and his wife Vicky retired to North Port, Florida in 2014 where he continued his fight with pancreatic cancer.
Randy was a member of Faith Community Church in Youngstown.
Randy was born in Youngstown, Ohio July 13, 1958 to Paul and Lynn Cramer. A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1976 he also spent six years with the USN- Sea Cadet Corp (Hosp. Corpsman HC2).
Randy is survived by his parents, his wife Vicky (Klass), sons Bryan & wife Kristen (Rowe) of Struthers, Mark of New York City and his daughter Amanda & husband Fritz Foraker of Columbus; his brother Jeff and wife Terry of Poland. He also leaves to cherish his memories his in-laws George & Jane Klass of North Port, FL and Peg "Mombo" Polya of Salem.
Randy started his career in 1977 with Local 396 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union before hiring in at General Motors in 1986 as a pipefitter. He earned a position with management in 1990 in the maintenance department where he was promoted and served as Apprenticeship/JIT Coordinator, Facility Manager, Technical Training Manager, and as a member of the GM Local Negotiating Team for Skilled Trades.
Randy was a proud Master Mason of Argus Lodge #545 in Canfield, a member of the Scottish Rite (Valley of Youngstown), Al Koran Shrine and Youngstown Shrine Club, Patriot Guard Riders, and Pancreatic Cancer Advocate to Senate and Congress. He also spent five years as a volunteer Fireman with Boardman Township from 1980-1985.
With a love and passion for music, Randy played trumpet, trombone, sax, bass guitar and sang vocals in numerous bands including: Musik Elite, Eintracht, Just in Time and the Saxon Club Brass Band.
Randy was very proud of his service working numerous times with the Secret Service Presidential and Congressional Details, FBI and ATF on occasions assisting in investigations and event planning.
Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, playing music, golfing and just enjoying life. He was also an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.
After defying the odds of his cancer diagnosis, Randy tirelessly became an advocate and inspiration for thousands of people around the world through Facebook and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan), frequently speaking with other cancer warriors and encouraging them and their families to never give up the fight and to live each moment to its fullest potential.
Randy wanted to send a special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at The Hope Center in Boardman, Ohio, the Florida Cancer Specialists in Port Charlotte, Florida and Dr. Sovi Joseph in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Those who knew him will never forget his whistling tunes and his boisterous and contagious laugh. He encouraged everyone to always remember to LIVE, to LAUGH, and to LOVE.

Friends and family will be received Friday from 4-7PM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7PM and Saturday from 3-3:45PM, 8536 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00PM at the funeral home.
