Quentin B. Spangler

Quentin B. Spangler, 85 Poland - Quentin B. Spangler, 85, of Poland, died Monday, June 18, 2007 in Hampton Woods Nursing Center. Mr. Spangler was born May 4, 1922 in Maitland, WV, the son of Clayton and Lena Lambert Spangler. He has been a life-long area resident since moving to the area when he was an infant. Mr. Spangler attended Liberty High School and was a United States Army World War II veteran. He worked as a Machinist for Wean United for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He leaves his daughter, Janet (Vincent) Rusnak of Poland; his son, Jeffrey (Marie) Spangler of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren and eight great-children. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former, Betty Thompson, whom he married June 27, 1946, on December 26, 1998, and his daughter, Patricia Acevedo.
