Priscilla Augustine Boland

Priscilla Augustine Boland, 85 New Middletown- Priscilla Augustine Boland, 85, of 9555 Struthers Road, died early Saturday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Boland was born December 2, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of John Edward and Mary Elizabeth Neff Shuttleworth. She was raised in Struthers and moved to New Middletown in 1965. A 1938 graduate of Struthers High School, Mrs. Boland worked at Pickering Grocery for 5 years and then was an operator and office technician for Ohio Bell Telephone Company, retiring April 30, 1978 after 27 years of service. She was a member of Local 2162 Senior Citizens, Struthers AARP 3105 and Telephone Pioneers. Mrs. Boland was a member of the Old Springfield United Church of Christ. Her husband William A. âa�A"Redâa�A� Boland whom she married August 24, 1963 died February 25, 1999. She leaves one son, Ernest (Janet) Augustine of North Lima; two step-sons, Howard (Mona) Boland of Clewiston, Florida and James (Loyce) Boland of Washington, North Carolina; one Daughter-In-Law, Carol Augustine of McDonald; one step-daughter, Barbara Facciola of Youngstown; one brother, William Shuttleworth of Clearwater, Florida; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Augustine and three brothers, Richard, John and Robert Shuttleworth. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
