POLAND-Eugene D. Zajac Jr

POLAND-Eugene D. Zajac Jr., 51, died at 4:01 PM Saturday at St. Eizabeth Health Care Center following an extended lung illness. He was born July 18, 1952, a son of Elizabeth and Eugene Schlosser Zajac. Mr. Zajak was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and Youngstown State University, where he graduated with a Bachelorâa�a��s in Criminal Justice. He was a retired state employee from the Bureau Vocational Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of the Brach 161, ECSLA and the Poland Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing golf and attending high school sporting events. He was married to his high school sweetheart, the former Deborah Diorio, with whom he had three children with, Eric, Lauren, and Natalie all at home. He was one of four children and will be loved sadly missed by his by two sisters; Mary Beth White of Struthers; JoAnn Schuler of New Middletown; a brother, John Zajac of Poland; his mother, Elizabeth; and eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his father, Eugene Zajac. Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30 AM at the Cunningham- Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
