Services will be held Monday, 11:00 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church Boardman for Phyllis A. Weaver, 82 of Canfield. She passed away Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center-Boardman Campus.
Mrs. Weaver was born May 2, 1931 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Irven and Myrtle (Pensyl) Beury. She was a homemaker and active in the church choir, Bible Study group and The Women's Association. She also was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society, Mahoning Co. Olde Car Club, a card club and a former Den mother.
Surviving her is her husband Donald R. Weaver, whom she married Oct. 29, 1949, her children Gail Ann (George) Bayer of Youngstown, Gregg (Karen) Weaver of Salem, Jeffrey (Diane) Weaver of Boardman, Cynthia (Jeffrey) McMurray of Walkertown, NC, and Randy (Lynn) Weaver of Douglasville, GA.
Fourteen grandchildren, Terri Weaver, Jennifer (Richard) Hunter, George (Amanda) Bayer, III, Amanda Bayer, Jessica (Joseph) Boyle, Dr. Joshua (Melissa) Weaver, Jacob (Amy) Weaver, Jordon (Amy) Weaver, Kristen Weaver, Michael (Karen) Herrmann, Scott (Charleen) Herrmann, Timothy McMurray, John McMurray, and Daniel (Tina) McMurray. Also, twenty-two great children.
Preceding her in death besides her parents are a son Donald Weaver, Jr. and five sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-3:00 pm at Davis-Becker Funeral Home (new location 8536 Market St., Boardman) and Monday from 10:00am-10:45 am at the church.
