Boardman - Phyllis C. Ryhal, 92, formerly of Boardman, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon July 5, 2019.
Phyllis was born February 12, 1927 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late James and Carmela D'Alessandro Berger and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of East High School and married her husband, Ralph August 27, 1955, becoming a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated the remainder of her life to raising and caring for her family.
Her husband of 28 years, Ralph Wayne Ryhal, whom she married, August 27, 1955, passed away January 22, 1984.
Mrs. Ryhal leaves to cherish her memory a son, Ralph W. (Maria) Ryhal of Boardman; a daughter, Carol R. (Karl) Zook of Boardman; two grandsons, Cory Ryhal (fiance' Kathy Trinh) and Matthew Zook and her granddaughter, Andrea Ryhal.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Berger and her sister, Ida DiDomenico.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM Saturday July 13, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Boardman. Friends will be received one hour prior to the services at the church. Committal services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boardman where Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband.
Although thoughts of kindness and generosity are appreciated, the family requests that no flowers be sent.
