Youngstown - Philip Raymond Lyle, 59, of Youngstown, died Monday, August 10, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Philip was born May 11, 1950 in Youngstown, a son of the late Ray and Sarah Hagerty Lyle.
He was a 1968 graduate of Ursuline High School and received his Masters in Education from Kent State University.
Philip worked as a Lineman for AT&T and then as a substitute teacher for both the Philadelphia City Schools and Youngstown City Schools. Philip was a member of Mensa.
Philip leaves his sister, Sheilah (Raymond) Prest of Canfield; half-sister Linda Rae of Cleveland Hts; brother, David Lyle of Los Angeles, CA; and his nephew, Jeffrey Prest.
