Peggie Jean Matricardi

Peggie Jean Matricardi, 62 Struthers- Peggie Jean Matricardi, 62, died Saturday morning at Austinwoods Nursing Center. Peggie was born October 10, 1941 in Wampum, Pennsylvania a daughter of John C. and Margaret Mills Deal. She came to Struthers in 1960. A 1957 graduate and a Valedictorian of Beaver Falls High School, Peggie received her nursing degree from Youngstown State University. For 15 years she was a registered nurse in the oncology department for Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Besides her mother of Wampum, Pennsylvania, Peggie leaves her husband, James whom she married July 1, 1960; two daughters, Jane (John) Pavlicko of Struthers and Jill (Bradley) Schroeder of Chagrin Falls; one son, James Matricardi, Jr. of Struthers; one sister, Cathy Bailey of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; two brothers, John âa�A"Jackâa�A� Deal of Wayne Township, Pennsylvania and Richard Deal of Kimbolton, Ohio and seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
