Boardman - Pearle L. Stover, 95, of Boardman, formerly of Poland, died Monday, May 19, 2008 at Beeghly Oaks with her caretaker and best friend, Bob Hudak, by her side. Mrs. Stover was born March 15, 1913 in Garrettsville, Ohio, a daughter of Lewis and Pearle Phillips Stanley. She has been a resident of this area since 1940. Mrs. Stover was a homemaker. She was a member of Poland United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Trias Chapter of the Eastern Star, the Aut Mori Cauldron, and the White Shrine. Her husband, William M. Stover, whom she married September 3, 1940, died September 23, 1967. She leaves her caretaker and best friend of 11 years, Bob Hudak of Boardman; a cousin, Vera (Tom) Bach of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a nephew, William Stover of Struthers; and numerous other cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Stover was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis P. Stanley. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Poland United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lake Park Cemetery. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Friday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church.
