Struthers - Pauline Stellato, 88, of Struthers, died Thursday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Stellato was born August 4, 1923 in Campbell, a daughter of Eli and Carolina Pina Mihu.
She was a 1941 Campbell Memorial High School graduate and worked as a sales clerk in the Fur Department of Livingston's in downtown Youngstown.
She was a member of Christ Our Savior at St. Nicholas Church, where she was a former member of its Altar and Rosary Society and the St. Nicholas Moms. Her interests including needlepoint ,embroidery, and dancing
Her husband, Peter Stellato, whom she married June 5, 1948, died May 21,1996. She leaves a son, Frank (Linda) Stellato of Struthers; daughter, Virginia Stellato of Huntington Beach, CA; three grandchildren, Brian (Debbie) Stellato, Chris Stellato, all of Struthers and Matt Stellato of Austintown; four great-grandchildren, Reed, Van, Hunter, and Faith Stellato.
Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Drozda, Mary Pope, Sophie Motz, and Anna Primm; and one brother, Nicholas Mihu.
Services will be held Monday 11AM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday from 10:00-10:45 at the funeral home.
