Columbiana -There will be a funeral service Friday, 2:30 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland for Paul W. Willard of 625 Fairfield Ave, who passed away Tuesday morning at Salem Hospital.

Paul was born October 25, 1914 in Uniontown, PA, a son of Daniel and Anna Ludwig Willard, and came to the Youngstown area in 1929.

He was a 1932 graduate of Struthers High School, and was employed by the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co., from 1933 until 1974, where he retired as Superintendent of stores, after 41 years of service.

He married his high school sweetheart, Allie Allen, on February 2, 1937, and moved to Poland in 1941.

He was a member of the Poland United Methodist Church for 60 years, and for some time was a member of its choir, and since 2002, has been a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbiana. Paul was a member of the Wick Masonic Lodge F&AM #481.

Paul was an avid golfer, bowler, and gardener, and for 25 years after his retirement, he and his wife spent the winters in Bradenton, FL.

Paul is survived by a sister, Evalyn Roberts of Johnstown, PA.; granddaughter, Alexis Fuiava of Port Clinton; and grandson, Bryan Truzzie of Midlothian, VA.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Allie; daughters, Margaret Ann Willard and Carol Truzzie; two sisters, Ruth Phillips and Irene Holman; and one brother, Clarence Willard.

Friends will be received Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. when the Masonic service will be conducted.
