Paul C. Wagner, 80 Youngstown- Paul C. Wagner, 80, of 3910 Stratmore Ave., died Thursday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Wagner was born December 14, 1923 in North Lima, a son of Carl H. and Mabel Rieser Wagner. He was a life-long area resident. He worked in the open hearth of the Youngstown Sheet and Tube and later in the seamless plant of LTV retiring in 1980. Mr. Wagner enlisted in the United States Air Force for two enlistments; from 1942 until 1945 he served in World War II, in England as a Maintenance Line Chief for the A20 Airplane and from 1946 until 1949 he served in air-sea rescue in Japan. He was a 1942 graduate of Struthers High School and was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Protestant Menâa�a��s Golf League. Besides his wife the former Irene Koloff whom he married December 15, 1951 he leaves two sons, Richard (Patricia) Wagner of Columbiana and Michael (Christine) Wagner of New Springfield; one sister, Dorothy McCabe of Hubbard and six grandchildren. His parents, one grandson and one brother John R. Wagner preceded him in death. Memorial services will be Saturday, Feb 21st at 3:00 PM at the Lockwood United Methodist Church. Friends may call Saturday from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the church. The family request contributions to go to the church memorial fund. Arrangements are by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home.
