Paul L.Wilson

Struthers - Paul Leroy Wilson, 81, passed away on  Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side.   

Paul was born July 15, 1942 in New Castle, PA, a son of Leroy and Gertrude (Taylor) Wilson.

He graduated from New Castle High School in 1960. During his childhood, Paul was surrounded by loving family. 

After high school, Paul served in the U.S. Army for three years during peacetime.   

Paul worked for Youngstown Sheet & Tube for fourteen years. He later became a member of Teamsters Local 377.  He was a truck driver for Yourga Trucking Company in Wheatland, PA., for over 30 years before retiring. 

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a wonderful uncle and enjoyed spending time with his wife, Linda of 50 years.  Paul was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching cowboy movies. He was a friend to everyone and always had a smile.  

Paul is survived by his wife, the former Linda S. Capitola; three sons, Darrell Wilson of Modesto, CA, Darrin Wilson of San Mateo, CA, and Shawn (Rhonda) Wilson of Akron, OH; a daughter, Cassaundra (Mark Sedor) Wilson of Akron, OH; thirteen grandchildren, Darien Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Kyla Wilson, Madyson (Eric) Diep, Tanyr Wilson, Keanu Wilson, Gavin Wilson, Sydney Wilson, Madison Wilson, Sammy Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Elijah Sedor and David Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Hazel, Jace, and Khalil; two brothers, Donald  Wilson of Cleveland, OH, and Leonard Brown of Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Beverly Brothers of New Castle, PA, Gloria Wilson of New Castle, PA, Malinda Wilson of Cleveland, OH, and Yvonne Clark of New Castle, PA. 

Besides his loving parents, Paul was preceded in death by a son, Paul Wilson; a grandson, Jeremy Wilson; and brother, George Wilson.

Per Paul's request, there will be private funeral services.  There are no calling hours.  

Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring Street in Struthers.
