Poland - Patt J. Vince, 69, died November 5, 2015 at his residence.
Patt was born July 30, 1946 in Youngstown, a son of Peter and Lorna Carlson Vince.
He was a 1964 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Valley Mold, and General Motors.
He later was involved in the automobile business for 30 plus years. He went on to own several car dealerships most recently First Place Auto Sales, which he operated with his son Peter.
He was a member of Poland Presbyterian Church and he enjoyed golfing, vehicles, motown, dancing with his wife, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
Patt was a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1964-1967.
He was a well respected man who always found the good in everyone.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kathy O'Hare, whom he married March 9, 1979; six children, Alicia (Donald) Ficke of Austintown, Anthony (Kanda) Vince of Oklahoma City, Peter (Melissa) Vince of Struthers, Amber (Antonio) Angelilli of Struthers, Joe (Kedron) Vince of Poland, and Ron (Julie) Vince of Struthers; 17 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Patt was preceded in death by one brother, James "Ronnie" Vince; and two sisters, Penny Galloway and Mona Jane Vince; his first wife, Felicia Shaffo; and his father in- Robert Copeland.
Friends and family will be received Thursday from 4-7PM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. Struthers, followed by military honors.
