Patrick "Monk" Mangee
February 26, 1935 — January 16, 2017
Youngstown - Patrick "Monk" Mangee, 81, died on Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. He was born in Youngstown on February 26, 1935 to the late Anthony and Lena Carfagnia Mangee.
Monk was a 1953 graduate of East High School, proudly served in the United States Army and was employed as a pattern maker for Commercial Shearing for over 30 years.
He leaves his daughter, Linda (Brian) McKnight of Hilliard; son, Patrick (Christine) Mangee Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chad, Kyle and Matthew; and a very special friend, Judy Biondillo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Mangee, who passed away on February 22, 2007 and his brother, Anthony "Junior" Mangee.
In honoring his wishes, Monk will be cremated and there will be no services.
