Struthers - Patricia A."Pat" Sirls, 60, of Struthers, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at her residence of an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Sirls was born November 6, 1950 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Lora Jane Thomas Titus, and was a lifelong area resident.
She attended Woodrow Wilson High School, and worked for the Poland Local Schools as a school bus driver for over 20 years. Pat enjoyed scuba diving, rock hounding, and traveling. She and her husband traveled all over the Caribbean Islands, Italy, Australia and all across the United States. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; she also enjoyed genealogy and was able to track her ancestors to the early 1600's.
Pat was the type of person who would go out of her way to help anyone. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Sirls, whom she married August 19, 1967; her son, Dan (Allie) Sirls of Denver, CO; two brothers, Robert (Jennifer) Titus of Youngstown and David (Marcia) Titus of Dover, DE, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Sirls.
Family and friends will be received Saturday from 2:00 -- 3:45 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm.
