Patricia A. (Zupko) Sikora

Struthers - Patricia A. Sikora, 75, of Struthers, died Thursday afternoon, February 18, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.

Patty was born November 8, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of Andy and Mary Prochezko Zupko and was raised in Struthers.

She attended Struthers High School and in 1961 married her husband, John. Together they made their home in Struthers and raised their three sons. Patty was a devoted sports mom and gave her time generously to the Little Hardhats Football League and to the Struthers Little League Baseball where she regularly cooked spaghetti dinners for the entire team. Patty was a wonderful cook, had a great sense of humor and quick wit and loved hosting holiday gatherings at her home. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo and when she was younger, bowling. For the last 20 years Patty worked at Gino's Drive Thru Lottery. She loved her customers and spent time visiting and entertaining them. Patty was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Patty's husband of 54 years, John "Sheik" Sikora, died January 8, 2015; she leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Michael "Mickey" and Sharon Sikora of Masury; one sister, Jeanie Mikus of Struthers; and her four grandchildren of whom she was so proud, John and Alyssa Sikora, and Douglas and Hannah Schneider.

Besides her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her two sons, John Schneider and Rick Sikora.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 19, at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers where friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
