Struthers - Patricia "Tootie" Scardina, 75, died Sunday morning, February 10, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Scardina was born February 9, 1938 in Jenkins, KY, a daughter of Merrill and Lou Ann Elkins McLeod.
A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, she worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Smith, D.D.S.
Mrs. Scardina was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Boardman which she loved. She was a member of the church's "Holy Rollers." Patricia was an avid painter
Her husband, Paul F. Scardina, whom she married October of 1958, died May 5, 2001. She is survived by her mother, Lou Ann McLeod of Stuthers; two brothers, Frank McLeod of Struthers and Paul (Andrea) McLeod of West Palm Beach, Florida; and nieces and nephews, Frank Jr., Paula, Lori, Andy, and Kiki.
In addition to her father and husband, Mrs. Scardina was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Rees.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5-7 PM and Friday from 10-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
