Patricia A. Roberts

Patricia A. Roberts, 91, of Youngstown died Wednesday afternoon October 11, 2017 at her home. She was born July 27, 1926 in Van Wert, Ohio, a daughter of Melvin and Mabel (Walters) Baxter and had been a lifelong area resident.

Patricia was a long time member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church. She retired after a full career as administrative assistant to the president of Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Youngstown. Pat was a longtime member of the Yo-Mah-O Youngstown chapter of the I.A.A.P. serving in several leadership capacities over the years. She was also a strong supporter of Easter Seals involved for many years in fundraising and volunteer work.

Pat enjoyed Bridge and was a member of the A.C.B.L. She was an avid bowler and had enjoyed golf.

She is survived by her husband, James Roberts, formerly of Salineville, Ohio, whom she married October 10, 1987; her two sons, Kim (Chris) Van Kleeck of Columbiana, and Kevin (Cathy) Van Kleeck of Lapeer, Michigan; a step-daughter, Cara Roberts Bentley of Canton, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 16, 2017 at Canfield Presbyterian Church with Pastor Larry Bowald officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Salineville.
