Patricia J. Lewis

Poland - Patricia J. Lewis, 68, died Monday afternoon, January 29, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family.

Patricia, affectionately known as "Patty," was born May 7, 1949 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert Lamb and Mary Lynn (Benton) Cuprik.

Patty was a 1967 graduate of Hubbard High School. For 12 years, she worked for the David B. Roberts Company in housekeeping and prepping homes to be sold and later worked for the Encore Shop as a clerk.

Mrs. Lewis centered her life around her family and cherished the roles of being a wife, mother, and "Nana." There was nothing that brought her more joy than spending time with her granddaughters. She loved cooking and baking for her family, tending to her yard and flower beds, and enjoyed hopping on the back of her husband's motorcycle and riding with him.

Her husband, Robert E. "Bib" Lewis, Sr., whom she married September 2, 1967, preceded her in death on July 7, 2013. She is survived by her two sons, Robert E. Lewis, Jr. of Poland and Chad (Lindsay) Lewis of Columbiana; three granddaughters, Ava, Olivia, and Isabella Lewis; mother-in-law, Audrey Lewis of Fort Myers, FL; sister-in-law, Carol Lewis of Fort Meyers, FL; two brothers-in-law, John (Cheryl) Lewis of Jacksonville, FL and Glenn Lewis of Fort Myers, FL; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her step-father, Harry "Red" Cuprik.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland, where family and friends will be received on Friday from 4-5:45 p.m., prior to the service.
