Poland - Patricia M. Johnston, 64, died October 15, 2015 at Greenbriar Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Pat was born April 19, 1951 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Dwight and Hilda Crum Weeks.
She was a 1969 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. She went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education from Youngstown State University.
Pat was a teacher at Poland Schools, where she coached girls basketball, softball, and track. Upon her retirement from teaching, Pat worked at Johnston Hardware, Stambaugh-Thompson Hardware, and Home Depot.
She enjoyed bowling, sports, animals, and going to the Canfield Fair.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnston, whom she married Oct. 19,1999; her mother, Hilda Weeks of Poland; two brothers, Tim (Kim) Weeks of Washington, MI and Tom (Tina) Weeks of Almont, MI; one niece, Chrissy Weeks; one nephew Joseph Weeks both of Michigan; her long time friend who was like a sister, Cheryl Wall of Poland; and her four legged friends, Becker and CJ.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Weeks.
Services will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 247 Main St., Poland, Tuesday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Monday from 5-7 and Tuesday from 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
