Poland- Patricia A. Flanagan, 67, of Poland passed away Sunday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman after having a heart attack at her home that evening. Miss Flanagan was born in Youngstown on November 27, 1940, the daughter of William and Carrie (Dietz) Flanagan. Miss Flanagan attended St. Patrick School in Youngstown and was a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Youngstown State University in 1966. She received a Master of Science in Education in 1974 and a Master of Education for a Principalship in 1980. She was a teacher for 31 years teaching at Holy Family in Poland, St. Cyril & Methodius in Youngstown, St. Joseph in Austintown, then for 23 years at Southern Local Schools. After retiring from teaching, she worked at JoAnn Fabric in Boardman. Miss Flanagan leaves her brother, Joseph Flanagan of Poland; many nieces and nephews; and her lifelong best friend, Theresa Rutana. Miss Flanagan was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Flanagan; and her sister, Dorothy Price. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Rev.
