Lowellville - Patricia "Pat" Bovo, died December 10, 2015 at Masternick Memorial.
Pat Bovo was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, December 7, 1927, a daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Byers.
She worked as a homemaker and also worked at Carchedi's and Lavilla Restaurants. Pat helped with the elections and campaigned for numerous candidates. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, polka music and dancing, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent, whom she married, May 7, 1950; four daughters, Patricia (Paul) Burkey of New Middletown, Marie (Rex) Weaver of North Carolina, Marcella Oliver of North Carolina, Jeanette Hendershot of Lake Milton; three sons, Vincent Bovo, Jr. of New Jersey, Joseph (Ruthie ) Bovo of Lowellville, Michael (Joann) Bovo of North Carolina; one sister, Maggie Luklan of Canfield; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by seven siblings as well as eight still born siblings.
Services will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill St., Lowellville, Monday at 7:00 PM.
Friends and family will be received Monday from 5:00 PM- 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
The family request all gifts take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org .
