Pastor Evelyn Forame

Struthers - Pastor Evelyn Naomi Forame, 64, of Struthers, went home to be with the Lord December 26, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman. Mrs. Forame was born December 17, 1944 in Youngstown, a daughter of Raymond and Grace Wire Codner. She worked at State Alarm in Boardman as a manager. She was a member of the Christian Life Church, where she was a pastor and coordinator of the church's Food Pantry, Women Reaching Out to Women, the Treasured Gems Seniors, and she also taught Sunday School. She leaves her son, Nelson (Viola) Forame of New Middletown; a sister, Barbara (William) Snow of North Lima; and 6 grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Codner. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2008 at 4 p.m. at the Christian Life Church. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Mrs. Forame's name to the Christian Life Church, 6101 S. Raccoon Rd., Canfield, Ohio 44406 for either the Food Pantry or the Treasured Gems Seniors. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
