Leetonia - Pastor Clarence "Bud" Davis, 59, died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Salem Community Hospital.
Bud was born November 7, 1952 in Monaca, PA, a son of Edward and Essie (Miller) Davis. He moved to the Youngstown area in 1984.
He was a 1970 graduate of Monaca High School and received his bachelor's degree in theology. Pastor Bud and his wife most recently operated B&J Campground Ministries.
He leaves his wife, the former Julia "Judy" Moore, whom he married May 18, 1985; two daughters, Kimberly (Richard) Ivan of West Salem and Nicole Nixon of Beaver, PA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Essie (Francis) Rudnicki of Beaver and Roseanne (Dave) Healy of Monaca; brother, Charles (Astrid) Davis of York, PA; and his beloved dogs, Cheyenne and Baxter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Patty and her infant twin sister, Agnes, Joanne, Dorothy, and Margaret; and four brothers, George, Harry, Bill, and John.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
Family and friends will be received today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
