Worcester, Massachusetts - Pamela Jeanne Stavick, 62, formerly of Poland, died Friday, September 12, 2014, unexpectedly at her home in Worcester, MA.
Pamela was born November 2, 1951, the daughter of John and Margaret Purcell Stavick (aka Stavich), in Youngstown, Ohio.
She graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1969, where she was a member of the National Honor Society; received a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech from Ohio University in 1973; received a Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing from the University of Illinois; received certification of clinical competency in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association; and received a Master degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business.
Pamela worked at the family business, Calex Corporation as an officer of the company, serving as her father's "right hand man."
She had many interests including traveling extensively, playing the flute and piano, and crocheting.
She is survived by her two sisters, Margaret Stavick of Poland and Donna (Bill Beck) Stavick of Youngstown.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland with Deacon John Terranova officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
Family and friends will be received Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
