Oliver Perry Cash

Oliver Perry Cash, 93 Poland-Oliver Perry Cash, 93, of 7409 North Lima Rd. died Friday morning at his residence. Mr. Cash was born on Febuary 2, 1912 in Independence, Ohio, a son of Ray and Mary Harlacher Cash. He came to the area in 1937. He received a Bachelorâa�a��s Degree from Miami of Ohio and later a Masterâa�a��s Degree in Music and History from the Ohio State University. He was a music teacher at Poland Seminary High School and South High School, where he retired 30 years ago. He was an active member in the Poland Kiwanis Club and the Retired Teachers Association. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Youngstown, where he was choir director. His wife, the former Hilda Marohn, whom he married in 1935, died in 1992. He leaves a daughter, Judy Yoss of New York City. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Cash. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:30AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
