Olive Palmer, 78 New Middletown âa�" There will be a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Davidson Becker Funeral Home for Olive Palmer of Unity Road who passed away Wednesday following a courageous three year battle with cancer. Olive was born June 15, 1927 in London, England, the daughter of Richard and Maude Jones. Her husband, Phillip Palmer, whom she married September 6, 1947, passed away May 7, 1995. Olive and Phillip came to the United States in 1955. Olive worked at Superior Industries for 20 years retiring in 1990. She was an avid bowler, a member of the Senior Mix Doubles League and a member of the Soar Club. Olive was always ready to help friends and neighbors. She had a warm smile and contagious laugh. She loved to travel, shop and spend time with friends and family. Olive will be greatly missed by her only son Richard Palmer, a sister Florence and two nieces, Joanne & Jeanne, all who reside in Florida.
