Struthers - Olga Helen Kosco, 95, of Struthers, died Thursday evening, December 17, 2015, at her residence.
Olga was born August 28, 1920 in Struthers, a daughter of Andrew and Helen Pilzic Boyarko.
A life-long resident of Struthers, Olga was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School. Olga worked in customer service for Mahoning National Bank at the Fifth Street Plaza for 20 years. She retired in 1985. She, and her husband Duke, also owned and operated the Struthers Newsstand. Olga was an active member of the ABWA and enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
Her husband George "Duke" Kosco, whom she married July 30, 1951, died August 18, 2008; She leaves her son, Edward Kosco of Girard; and three grandchildren, Megan, Marie and Jonathan Kosco.
Besides her parents and husband, Olga was preceded in death by her son, George Kosco; and three brothers, Andy, Tex, and Cola Boyarko.
A prayer service will be held Monday, 9:30 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Bernard Bonnot officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
Friends will be received Monday from 8:30 AM until the time of the prayer service at 9:30 AM.
