Olga L. Koren, 72 Struthers- Olga Lillian Koren, 72, of 150 Perry Street died following a short illness of cancer Sunday evening at her residence. She was born April 29,1931 in Struthers a daughter of Mate and Ljuba Petrunic Gerek. She was a life long resident. A 1949 graduate of Struthers High School, she was the title clerk for the former Henderson Chevrolet Motor Company in Youngstown last working in 1958. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Struthers, was a member of the Struthers Library Board from 1978 to the present time and was a life member of the Croation Fraternal Union. She enjoyed reading and being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Koren leaves her husband Stephen whom she married May 17, 1958; four daughters, Dr. Cindy Koren of Madison, Wisconsin, Kathy (Jerry) Adkins of Troy, Ohio, Shelly (David) Durbin of Lowellville, Dee Dee (Chris) Graff of Poland; A brother Rudy Gerek of Poland and three grandchildren, Rachel and David Durbin and Lauren Adkins. She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Gerek. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and from 8:45 to 9:15 AM Thursday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, Struthers.
