Norman "Edward" Ault
August 16, 1940 — November 20, 2017
Norman "Edward" Ault, died November 20, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Ault was born August 16, 1940 in Youngstown, a son of Merle and Matilda Foltin Ault.
He was a 1958 graduate of Struthers High School and attended Youngstown State University. He worked for International Multi Foods and for various distributors for 20 years, retiring in 1992.
Edward was an officer of the University Club and was a member of the Youngstown area Grocers Manufactures Representatives of Youngstown, Struthers Gridiron and Esquire clubs.
He enjoyed sports, listening to blue grass, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Edward was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his loving companion for almost 30 years, Mary Rennie of Struthers; two sons, Brian Ault of Struthers and Kevin (Lacy) Ault of Worthington; five grandchildren, Lily, Christopher, Parker, Regan, and Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by both parents; one sister, Patricia; and one brother, Allen "Butch".
There will be no services or calling hours.
Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
