Enon Valley - Norma J. White, 82, of Enon Valley, formerly of Poland, died April 12, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. White was born March 11, 1932 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Ellsworth and Margaret Porter Cousins.
She moved from Poland to Enon Valley in 1970 where she and her husband Jim established and operated a Thoroughbred Horse Farm for 40 years.
Norma was a 1950 Woodrow Wilson High School graduate and was a homemaker. She was a member of Westfield Presbyterian Church.
Norma loved spending time with family and entertaining those she loved. She also enjoyed playing golf.
She is survived by her husband, James B. White, whom she married Dec. 26, 1951; a daughter Traci (Ron) Blasko of Columbiana; a son, Brad (Debbie) White of Enon Valley, PA; four grandchildren, Joshua (Jocelyn) White, Tyler (Becca) White, Jake Blasko, and Mandi Blasko; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by both parents, and her brother, Richard Cousins.
All that knew her will remember her for her joy for life and the love she freely shared.
Services will be held Tuesday at 6:30PM at Westfield Presbyterian Church, 1363 Mt. Jackson Rd. New Castle, PA 16102. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at Westfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
