Norma J. Simon

Norma J. Simon 66 Poland, OH- Norma J. Simon, 66, died Wednesday at residence. Mrs. Simon was born in Mars, Pennsylvania June 24, 1937, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Kiester Covert. She was a Harrisville High School graduate and attended Youngstown College. She was an Avon Cosmetic Representative for over 30 years. She also worked as a secretary at Carbon Limestone and the McCune Company. She enjoyed singing and was an avid bowler. Her husband, Edward Simon, whom she married September 1, 1967, died March 28, 2004. She leaves one son, John Michael (Patti) Sidley of Niles; three sisters, Nancy (Fred) Brantley of Mooresville, NC, Kathy Heslop of Mooresville NC, and Vernie Johns of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers, Jack (Patty) Covert of Butler, PA, James Covert of Pennsylvania, and Kenny (Marilyn) Covert of Chicago, IL; and three grandchildren, Melissa, Jack, and Emily Friends may call today 5-8PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, Ohio and Saturday from 10-11AM at the Jamison Funeral Home, Harrisville, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 AM at the Jamison Funeral Home.
