Struthers - Nora Monica Aaron, 76, of Struthers, died Friday afternoon at her residence.
Nora was born October 7, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Marie Albu Pacalo. She was raised in Campbell and moved to Struthers in the 1950's.
A 1952 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Nora worked at General Electric. Nora's greatest accomplishment in life was taking care of her husband and children. She had a nurturing way about her and was always making sure that everyone around her was taken care of and was happy. Nora was a beautiful, unselfish woman with a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her family.
Her husband, Ronald "Sarge" Aaron whom she married July 11, 1959 died July 14, 1997. She leaves four daughters, Teresa (Douglas) Stahl of Canfield, Elaine Aaron at home, Renee Aaron of Poland, and Elizabeth (David) Sawyer of Columbus, IN; one son, Ronald Aaron II of Poland; two brothers, Nicholas (Rose) Pacalo of Boardman and Pete Pacalo of Struthers; six grandchildren, Loraine Meyer, Harry Meyer, Angela Stahl, Kristen Moore, Tiffany Collins, and Olivia Collins; and one great-granddaughter, Makenzie Moore.
Besides her parents and husband, Nora was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John Pacalo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Fr. Bernard officiating. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 5:45 PM at the funeral home.
