NONA E. CAMPBELL âa�" 93 PETERSBURG âa�" Nona E. Campbell, 93 of 12060 Mallards Crossing, formerly of Poland died Monday evening at the Woodlands of Hampton Woods. Mrs. Campbell was born February 1, 1914 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Edith Milsop Mullin. She was a life long area resident. She was a 1932 graduate of East High School, then went on to Youngstown College, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Campbell worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for 10 years as a Service Representative, then became a school teacher. She taught for the Struthers School System for 23 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church, where she was an active member in the Miriam Circle, the United Methodist Women, where she was Past President, and had served on many administrative boards of the church. A member of the Struthers Retired Teachers Association, the Mahoning County Retired Teachers Association, the National Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Care & Share Widows Group, the American Association of Retired Persons and a founding member of the Theban Club for 80 years. Her husband, Donald F. Campbell, whom she married September 2, 1938, died July 13, 1993. She leaves two daughters, Leslie (David) Williams of Petersburg, Margaret (Jack) Lewis of Petersburg, four grandchildren Douglas (Andrea) Williams, Deborah Williams, Jamie (Curtis) Smith, Justin (Julie) Lewis, and three great-grandchildren, Kiley Lynn Lewis, Nathan Scott Lewis, and Robert Thomas Williams. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Mullin. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 âa�" 10:45 am at the Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44511, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given in Mrs. Campbellâa�a��s name to the Lockwood United Methodist Church.
