North Jackson - Noah Jonathan Massie, 25, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, now becoming his family's guardian and protector.
Noah was born April 26, 1999 in Youngstown, Ohio, to his loving parents, Kevin and Kristen Baldelli Massie.
Raised in Boardman, Noah graduated from Boardman High School in 2018. From a young age, Noah developed a passion for sports and found joy in playing for the Spartans' football, baseball, basketball, and track and field teams, especially excelling in the long jump. Noah furthered his education at Youngstown State University, where he recently received his Bachelor' Degree in Business. While at YSU, he enjoyed attending the Penguins football and basketball games, and also cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes. The traditions of tailgating with family before games became cherished experiences for Noah, combining his love for sports with his love for family.
Noah's commitment to his personal well-being extended beyond academics and athletics. He maintained a strong focus on fitness, style, and becoming the best version of himself. His closet was a reflection of his vibrant personality, showcasing the latest fashion trends in clothing, hats, and shoes. Maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, Noah enjoyed lifting weights and working out at the gym. He also embraced the art of self-improvement, often reading motivational books, constantly seeking ways to improve and better himself. A goal setter, Noah set high goals for himself and was always willing to put in the work to reach them.
Last year, the Massie family embarked on a new adventure, moving to North Jackson, where they established a hobby farm. A lover of all things nature and animals, Noah found pure joy in living the simple country life. His family lovingly dubbed him their "Property Manager" as he loved tending to the chores and helping maintain the property. He found simple pleasures in sitting around the bonfire, enjoying the company of his three dogs, riding his four-wheeler, and listening to country and rap music.
Noah's memory and legacy will be carried on through his parents, Kevin and Kristen; his siblings, Kevin and Addison Massie; grandparents, Ray and Joan Baldelli of Poland, Janice Dorosky of East Canton, Ohio, and Sandra Massie of Poland; his beloved dogs, Oliver, Tessa, and Scarlet; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, who Noah loved dearly.
Noah was reunited with his grandfather, Alfred K. Massie, Sr, who passed away in 2021.
A private gathering was held for the immediate family. There will be no public calling hours. After cremation takes place, Noah will be returned to his family's farm, where he found peace and serenity.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Please visit www.beckerobits.com to share memories and condolences with Noah's family.
