Nila E. Holliday

Nila E. Holliday, 81 Youngstown- Nila E. Holliday, 81, of Youngstown, died Friday morning at her residence. Mrs. Holliday was born March 25, 1927 in West Virginia. She was raised in West Virginia and in 1954 moved to this area. She worked in the kitchen and delivered food to patients at Northside Hospital. Nila was an active member and supporter of the Baptist Gospel Tabernacle. Her church was her life and she enjoyed working at the church whenever she could. Folding the literature for the mail came first to Nila. She enjoyed helping people and in her free time she and her son would visit the local flea markets on Sundays and Wednesdays. Her husband, Cecil Holliday, whom she married in 1946 died in 1972. She leaves her son, Gary Holliday, at home and her church family. Funeral services will be Monday, 6:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Pastor Harold Day officiating.
