Nick R Candiello

Struthers - Nick R. Candiello, 78, died suddenly on August 18, 2016 in the Cleveland Clinic. He was born June 25, 1938 in Hillsville, PA, to the late Joseph and Mary Diana Candiello.

Nick was a 1956 graduate of Bessemer High School and went on to take classes at Youngstown State University. He was employed as a supervisor for Gennaro Pavers for 35 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Christ our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. Nick was also a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local #66 and SNPJ. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves his daughter, Candice (Robert) Buzzelli of Rockmart, GA; his sister, Joan Ponzi of Hillsville, PA; his brother, Joseph (Joann) Candiello of Cranberry, PA; his fiancée, Priscilla Carlucci of Struthers and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Maravola Dell'Arco and his brother-in-law, Peter Ponzi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am at Christ our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Martin Celuch as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 10-10:45am at the church.

The Davidson-Becker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
