Struthers - Nicholas E. Noviello, 85, died August 8, 2015 in Hampton Woods. Nick was born July 9, 1930 in Youngstown, son of the late Eugene and Angela Tedesco Noviello.
He was 1948 graduate of South High School and proudly served in the United States Army. He was the owner of Nick's Department Store in Struthers for many years. Nick was a member of Christ our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, where he belonged to the Mom and Dad's Club. He was a member of the St. Anthony Society, the Struthers High School Band Boosters and was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a musician and played the trumpet, enjoyed golf, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
He leaves his loving wife Mary, whom he married on June 2, 1956; three daughters, Patti Noviello of Poland, Nancy (Rick) Miracle of Poland and Karen (Dennis) Brubaker of Struthers; son, Nicholas E. Noviello, Jr. of Struthers; three grandchildren, Rick (Shannon) Ohl of Franklin, OH, Kellie (Marc) Work of Cleveland and Gina Cossette of Poland; and four step grandchildren, Cody (Sherry) Miracle of Cortland, Callen Miracle of Maui, HI, Nicole Brubaker of Boardman and Robert Brubaker of Pittsburgh.
Prayer services will start on Wednesday at 9:15am at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St. Poland followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10am at Christ our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Bernard Bonnot as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Lowellville, OH.
Friends will be received 4-7pm at the funeral home.
