Naomi D. Phelan - 83 POLAND-- Naomi D. Phelan, 84, of 7410 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road died Monday morning at her residence. Mrs. Phelan was born August 16, 1923 in Glencoe, Ohio, a daughter of Carl Oscar & Margaret Pauline Ault Renstrom. She was a 1941 graduate of Struthers High School. During WW II, Mrs. Phelan worked for General Fireproofing, then later worked for Sears, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Phelan was a Charter member of the Holy Family Church. Her husband Carl Joseph Phelan I, whom she married November 17, 1945 died in 1999. She leaves three daughters Kathleen (James) Klasovsky of Austintown, Pamela Fisher of Youngstown, and Marggaret Messer of Austintown; three sons, Patrick (Elaine) Phelan of Austintown, Kevin (Stephanie) Phelan of Youngstown, and Carl Joseph Phelan, III of Berlin Center; and 18 grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother James Renstrom. There will be no calling hours.
